Two cars parked next to each other were set on fire late Saturday in Strumica. The police informed that a Land Rover passenger vehicle with Strumica license plates owned by N.M. (51) from Strumica was first set on fire, and then the fire spread and engulfed another parked Ford vehicle with Strumica license plates owned by V.T. (53) from Strumica.
As the Ministry of Interior (MoI) reported, the vehicles were parked in a parking lot in front of a building on Braka Miladinovi Street in Strumica. The fire was extinguished by the Strumica Fire Department, and there were no injuries reported.
“A public prosecutor from the Strumica Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) has been informed about the case, and a fire inspector and a team from the Strumica Interior Department have inspected the scene. Measures are being taken to clear up the case,” the Ministry of Interior added.
