Macedonian Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska held a working meeting Friday with the Public Revenue Office (PRO) director Elena Petrova, and the Customs Administration head Boban Nikolovski. The meeting focused on current budget execution, specifically revenue collection and trends across various tax categories.

It was noted that budget execution is proceeding according to plan, with no significant deviations observed on either the revenue or expenditure side at this time.

The Ministry of Finance, in coordination with the Public Revenue Office and the Customs Administration, continues to closely monitor trends and the realization of budget revenues.

“The budget is being executed according to plan. Together with the PRO and the Customs Administration, we are closely monitoring revenues and any factors that could impact their realization. At the moment, there are no significant deviations from the plan, but we remain vigilant and will respond in a timely manner should the situation require it,” said Minister Dimitrieska-Kochoska.

Data on budget execution through August show total revenues of MKD 230.6 billion, representing 60.77% of projected revenues, marking an 8% increase compared to the same period last year.
