Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski in response to a reporter’s question regarding the accusations from SDSM that the Electoral Code is being lied about as a European requirement, said that the opposition members can hear Commissioner Marta Kos’s statement regarding this issue.
“I don’t know if we should comment on SDSM sometimes, but this issue deserves a comment, because it is important for the citizens and the state. After all, everyone could hear Commissioner Marta Kos say it. They don’t have to listen to me, I am irrelevant in the case, they should listen to Commissioner Kos, she said that it is part of the reforms that are important for EU integration,” PM Mickoski said.
According to the PM, some of the opposition politicians are contradictory in their behavior.
“Some politicians in the opposition are odd. When it comes to their interests, or to be more precise, their pockets, then their mouths are full of Europe, Europe and only Europe. When we should be talking about responsibility and taking action, and when they are in opposition, then they do everything just so that we don’t get where we need to get. But both with them and without them, we continue to realize our strategic goals, and that is the country’s full membership within the European Union,” noted PM Mickoski.
