VMRO-DPMNE announced that the situation in agriculture has changed in the past two years, and, according to the party, some of the problems with unpaid subsidies, arrears of wages and blocked projects have been overcome.
The ruling party states that when it took power, it found institutions in a standstill, unresolved cases and obligations from the period from 2020 to 2024. Dairy farmers were waiting for the payment of subsidies for a period of 17 months, while more than 1,600 employees of the PE National Forests and AD Water Management were left without pay, health and pension insurance for over four months.
VMRO-DPMNE points out that exports of agricultural products and processed products reached EUR 417 million in 2025, with a surplus of EUR 215 million.
