A 42-year-old Bangladeshi national, employed by one of the construction companies in Macedonia, has been laboratory-confirmed to have dengue fever and is under constant medical supervision at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases, informed the Clinic’s director Dr. Fadil Cana.
The patient’s first symptoms appeared before he arrived in Macedonia, and he is now in stable condition.
The patient had a fever about a week before arriving in the country. After the symptoms reappeared in Macedonia, he consulted with the company’s doctor, who, after performing blood tests, noticed certain deviations and immediately referred him to the Infectious Diseases Clinic.
