Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski says in a statement Sunday that work is being intensified on the construction of the Prilep-Bitola motorway, which will connect the entire region and open up new opportunities for development.
“This is the longest single motorway section being built in Macedonia. Our goal is for traffic to be on one lane next year. This motorway will mean safer and faster traffic, better connectivity, greater competitiveness of the economy and a strong incentive for the economic development of Pelagonija.
Pelagonija is one of the most important regions in Macedonia and that is why we are investing in modern infrastructure that will provide a better life for citizens and new perspectives for future generations,” Deputy PM Nikoloski pointed out.
