As for infrastructure, I have just come from inspecting the construction activities on the Prilep – Bitola motorway, the work there is going great. What I got as a promise from the contractors is that next spring we will be able to drive along the first kilometers of the motorway on the stretch from Prilep to Bitola, and accordingly, the entire motorway will be completed before the deadline, said Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski during his visit to Bitola for a meeting with the Bitola and Prilep Regional Chambers.
“The deadline for the completion of these projects is by end of 2029, I was promised that in the spring of 2029 we will have a complete motorway solution from Prilep to Bitola,” noted Nikoloski.
“This is followed by the talks that we are conducting intensively, and I expect that during the months of June or July we will come up with the final solution to continue where we left off, which is after the tunnels near Farish. We have already launched the expressway that goes from Gradsko to Drenovo and from Drenovo to Farish, now we need to complete the section that goes from Farish to Prilep, that is, to solve Pletvar in such a way that we have a complete motorway solution to Bitola,” Deputy PM Nikoloski pointed out.
