Regarding bilateral relations with Bulgaria, let me be crystal clear. In the current context, the country is not ready to make the constitutional changes. There is a lack of trust and credibility when it comes to the delivery for our country and therefore the Government is not ready to undertake any steps on the constitutional changes, Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski said Thursday at a joint press conference with the Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset, who is on an first official visit to the country.
“Are we doing specific things related to our European perspective, I don’t want to be repetitive, because this is a topic that has been very topical in the recent period. Yes, we are. The first is what we are doing in relation to the Reform Agenda. The second is what we are doing in the area of the common foreign and security policy, but much more is what we are doing for the implementation of European values. And at the end of the day, similar to what Mr. Berset said – for the objective commitment of our country to European values, which are sometimes even a broader context than the implementation of the common foreign and security policy,” said FM Mucunski.
