Former prosecutor from the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office (SPO), Lejla Kadriu, in an interview with Bogdan Ilievski Evening Show, came out with personal testimonies from her work in the prosecutor’s office, saying that it had resembled a SDSM headquarters more than a prosecutor’s office.

Incidentally, Kadriu was fired from the SPO – formed during the so-called Colorful Revolution in 2015, which was led by SDSM to overthrow the then-VMRO-DPMNE government – personally by Katica Janeva, with the explanation that she was “not a team player”.

“There was a kitchenette and one day I went to get some coffee. I come out of the office and see Zoran Zaev and Shekerinska (later Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister from the ranks of SDSM), on their knees with some papers. I see Lenche (Ristovska), Fatime (Fetai), Lile (Stefanova) and Gavril (Bubevski). I said “Guys, what are these people doing here, what are Zaev and Shekerinska doing here?” What are they looking to get into the Prosecutor’s Office. The Chief SPO prosecutor Janeva, was not there, nor were the rest of the prosecutors. What are these two people looking for here? Lenche told me that they brought the materials. Excuse me? And I ask her, who will write the minutes of the handover and how will you receive those materials when the boss is not here. But, obviously, these four were bosses. Well, Lenche tells me, we will not record the minutes of the handover. So, the country is falling apart. The whole world is listening to conversations with which Zoran Zaev is boasting in the streets, yet the Prosecutor’s Office is not recording the minutes of a handover. Unheard of,” said Kadriu.

“Not even prosecutors can agree to that, because the only one who had the right to sign all the acts that the prosecutors passed was Janeva. So we did not sign our acts that we worked on. We would draft them, she would sign them. And how are these four allegedly experienced prosecutors trampling on the law,” added Kadriu.
