The Government has decided to revoke the cannabis cultivation licenses of six companies, Government spokesperson Marija Miteva told a press briefing Tuesday.
Miteva told reporters that the licenses have been revoked over operating irregularities after an inspection by a competent commission.
The number of companies, which license has been revoked, is now up to 12, after the Government initially rescinded six licenses last month due to series of irregularities – administrative, infrastructure, technological and human resources.
The license revocation is taking place after the Government launched extraordinary inspections of the 43 legal entities operating in the field of cannabis cultivation.
