At the proposal of Macedonian Minister of Health Sasho Klekovski, the Government has adopted a decision that opens the possibility of hiring 300 more private resident physicians in public healthcare institutions by the end of 2026.
This decision represents a strong investment in young doctors and a concrete step towards strengthening Macedonian public healthcare. It creates conditions for young trainees to build their knowledge, expertise and professional future in the domestic healthcare system, according to the Ministry of Health.
The recruitments will be carried out in accordance with the needs of public healthcare institutions and the shortage of specialist staff, in order for young doctors to be hired where they are most needed.
“This is not just a decision for 300 new jobs. This is an investment in 300 professional futures, in stronger healthcare institutions and in better patient care. We are not educating our doctors to lose them – we are investing in their knowledge to build the healthcare system that citizens deserve,” stressed Minister Klekovski.
