I see the high advantage of the party (VMRO-DPMNE) in the latest poll as confirmation of the policies and work of the Government, Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Sunday, emphasizing that his focus remains on the implementation of projects, reforms and meeting the citizens’ expectations.
In response to a reporter’s question, Mickoski says that the Government is focused on work and concrete results, while the opposition, according to him, bases its strategy on untruths, insults, slander and attempts to create a negative atmosphere in the public.
According to the PM, the support measured in the polls is a result of the work on the ground and the implementation of government policies, and not on political rhetoric and accusations.
The latest poll conducted for the portal MKD.mk and released on Saturday showed that VMRO-DPMNE has 49.7 percent support among determined voters. According to the results, SDSM has support of 14.9 percent, DUI 12.1 percent, VLEN 10.7 percent, Levica 7 percent and ZNAM 3.6 percent.
According to the poll, Prime Minister and VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski won the highest percentage of trust among political parties’ leaders with 23.3 percent.
