Macedonian Deputy Minister of European Affairs ViktorijaTrajkov hosted Friday a delegation of Hungarian officials led by Hungary’s Deputy State Secretary for European Affairs BalázsMolnár for talks on strengthening bilateral cooperation regarding the country’s accession process with the European Union.
The meeting confirmed the excellent bilateral cooperation between the two countries, with an emphasis on advancing the partnership in the European integration process.
Deputy Minister Trajkov emphasized the Government’s commitment to implementing the reform agenda and accelerating the European integration process, emphasizing the importance of continued support from the European Union member states.
The Hungarian side expressed readiness for further expert and institutional cooperation, especially in the area of utilizing European funds, enlargement policy and the financial framework of the European Union.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on current geopolitical challenges, emphasizing the need for enhanced regional cooperation and stability as a prerequisite for the entire region’s progress towards EU membership.
During the meeting, it was agreed to deepen cooperation through the exchange of experiences and good practices, as well as intensify communication between institutions in the coming period.
