The economic growth of 4.3 percent in the second quarter of 2026 is supported by strong growth in investments, exports and construction, VMRO-DPMNE MP Biljana Kuzmanoska assessed on Wednesday.
According to the MP, the data show that positive economic results are based on concrete economic activity, and not just on statistical indicators.
“The economic growth of 4.3 percent is supported by strong growth in investments, exports and construction. This shows that positive economic results are based on concrete economic activity,” Kuzmanoska noted.
The ruling party representative pointed out that in the second quarter of 2026, gross investments recorded a growth of 16.5 percent, while exports of goods and services increased by 10.4 percent.
Particularly significant growth, as she noted, was observed in construction, which recorded a growth of 21.9 percent. The manufacturing industry, on the other hand, has grown by 4.1 percent.
Kuzmanoska also sent a political message to the opposition, accusing it of not rejoicing in the positive economic indicators.
“While the dregs of society rejoice in failures and all they want is for Macedonia to fail, we will work exclusively for the welfare of the citizens,” added MP Kuzmanoska.
