Investments in the energy network bring stability to citizens and companies, and economic progress to the country, Macedonia’s Deputy Prime Minister AleksandarNikoloskisaid at theunveiling of the new TS Central substation in Skopje, an investment by the EVN company.
In his address, Nikoloskinoted that this project is an example of the joint commitment of the Government and the private sector in the realization of large investments and added that Macedonia is currently a leading country in the region in the area of the energy transition.
“This is an example of how we can implement projects that are of interest to the state in the central city area, and I hope that this facility will mean stability for the entire central city area and for all those who gravitate towards it. As you know, the Government’s policy is to support energy transition, I currently think we are champions in the entire region, and with the initiative presented by Prime Minister Mickoski to integrate the countries of the region and create a single Union and a unified approach, I think that Macedonia will show its leadership position in the years ahead in the area of energy and energy transition as the main driver of the country’s development,” Deputy PMNikoloski pointed out.
