The Macedonian men’s volleyball team recorded its second victory in the third match of the European League, after tonight triumphed over Iceland with 3-0 in sets (25:21, 25:23, 25:19).
In the first of two matches that the team of coach Joshko Milenkoski will play this weekend in Glyfada, the Macedonian volleyball players justified their favorite role, dictating the pace throughout the three sets, but also allowing themselves to relax in the finals.
Captain Nikola Gjorgiev was the most efficient with 24 points, followed by Luka Kostikj with 10. Middle blockers Madzhunkov and Savovski scored eight and seven points, respectively.
The Macedonian national team will face host Greece on Sunday.
