Minimum wage raises by MKD 1,667 in net worth according to the March legal alignment, meaning the April minimum wage will increase for workers receiving MKD 26,046 in net worth.
According to Macedonian Minister of Economy and Labor Besar Durmishi, the increase in the minimum wage has been made in line with the legally established criteria in the Law on Minimum Wage.
“This is a systemic and legal solution that provides for an increase in the minimum wage in accordance with economic trends, protecting the living standards of workers and taking into account the economy of our country,” Durmishi said.
