The Macedonian Ministry of Interior (MoI) informs that Wednesday morning at the Blace border crossing, former State Lottery CEO Perparim Bajrami, accused of embezzlement in the service, reported to enter Macedonia.
“Today at 05:35 at the Dolno Blace Border Crossing, Perparim Bajrami (33), wanted with an international arrest warrant pursuant to an order from the Skopje Public Prosecutor’s Office No. XVII KO No. 4232/24 of 17.12.2024, reported for entry into the Republic of Macedonia. The person has been arrested and taken to the Skopje Correctional Institution Prison,” the Ministry of Interior said in a press release Wednesday.
A detention measure was issued for Bajrami at the request of the Search Department, in line with Article 354 paragraph 5 of the Criminal Code.
Another wanted person has been placed at the disposal of law enforcement agencies, after Artan Grubi in the State Lottery case.
