In order to maintain the professional standard, the dignity of the institution and mutual respect, a dress code is being introduced for all employees and clients who visit the premises of the Civil Services Department at the Ministry of Interior, the Macedonian Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Thursday.
As an institution that is a permanent service to citizens, says the MoI, it believes that appropriate attire contributes to a better working atmosphere and respect for state institutions.
“In this regard, we ask all citizens before coming to our premises (to collect personal documents, passports or other administrative services) to ensure that their appearance is within the generally accepted norms for public institutions,” the MoI said in its press release.
The ministry also notes that all Department employees are required to consistently respect the established dress code intended for employees in the Interior Ministry.
