The construction work on the Momin Potok Interchange is 75 percent complete, this stretch will be completed by the New Year, and after its commissioning it will seriously reduce congestion and enable safe, secure traffic, said Skopje Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski, who accompanied by Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski inspected the construction work.

“Seven months ago the interchange was in complete stagnation, the processes were blocked and there was only 10 percent expropriation, and now the expropriation is 100 percent resolved. All citizens have been fully paid by the City. This is a complex project that has two kilometers of retaining walls, pedestrian and bicycle paths,” said Gjorgjievski.

“The Government and Prime Minister Mickoski are our strong support, not only for Skopje and for me, but for all Skopje residents: The government has provided MKD 60 million for the Momin Potok interchange. This is one of the masterpieces that we will complete,” noted the capital’s mayor.
