Opposition SDS is so desperate that it celebrates the victory of a sister party of VMRO-DPMNE in another country, while their own is falling apart, VMRO-DPMNE MP Brane Petrushevski told a press briefing Sunday.
The MP added that SDS and Filipche did not say a word about their sister party in Hungary, which won just 1% of the vote. We predict that the SDS result in the next elections will be similar if they continue like this, says Petrushevski.
“But what is even more interesting and which Filipche should answer is, at the meeting of the Parties of European Socialists, currently being held in Croatia, did Filipche tell his colleague from Hungary that he has been celebrating the victory of Magyar and Tisza all week as if he were their spokesperson? Did Filipche tell his sister parties that he’s desperate, that he has no vision and program and that is why he is celebrating the victory of VMRO-DPMNE’s sister party in Hungary, while in Macedonia he has a rating equal to a statistical error? With such policies and this attitude, in which defeats are presented as victories, Filipche and SDS are sinking further and further,” said the ruling party representative.
