New Kromberg& Schubertlaunches new investment, expected to create 2,000 new jobs in Bitola

The company Kromberg& Schubert is launching a new investment project that is expected to create 2,000 new jobs over the next four years, Macedonian Prime Minister HristijanMickoskisaid Thursday.

“The facility will produce automotive components for the German giant, Audi. I hardly need to remind you what Audi is and what it represents in the automotive industry. This is a significant investment for Bitola, the Pelagonia region, and the economy as a whole; it also serves as confirmation that our country possesses a skilled workforce and industrial capacity capable of meeting the highest European standards. The factory, located in the Zhabeni industrial zone, will manufacture systems for a new Audi model, with a planned output of over 3,000 wiring harnesses per day. Furthermore, the project entails the introduction of advanced technologies and the digitalization of production processes. To date, Kromberg& Schubert has completed three investment projects in Zhabeni. With approximately 5,300 jobs already in Bitola and just over 1,700 in Skopje, this new project will bring the total number of employees to 10,000. This clearly demonstrates the immense confidence Kromberg& Schubert has in our country,” the Prime Minister noted.
