The Hydrometeorological Service announced a heatwave alert for Thursday, August 27, based on which certain parts of the country are in an orange phase.
The weather on Thursday will be sunny and warm with low to moderate local cloudiness and conditions for short-term instability in the afternoon. In Skopje and Demir Kapija, the temperature is expected to reach 39°C, in Gevgelija 38°C, while in Veles and Shtip up to 37°C. The weather is expected to be stable and warm at the beginning of next week.
