A new facility is being completely reconstructed in “Kojilija”, in which we are investing over MKD 10 million. During this year, we are implementing around 20 projects with a total value of over EUR 3 million, Macedonian Defense Minister VladoMisajlovskisaid Monday during an inspection of the construction activities in the “Kojilija” barracks.
“These are tens of millions of euros of investments. We are present in all barracks, roofs are being replaced, new capacities for modernization are being built, for new vehicles and artillery,” added the minister.
Misajlovski announced that the reconstruction in the “Kojilija”barracks will be completed in September, and work is also being carried out simultaneously in Veles, Prilep and Shtip.
“After 30 years without any interventions, today we are seeing a construction boom. The Army sets the priorities, and we provide funds from the budget,” said Misajlovski.
“Modernization will be over 30 percent of the budget, but at the same time we must invest in infrastructure,” MinisterMisajlovski stressed, adding that reconstruction is also being carried out in the Intelligence Service.
