The ceiling has caved in and part of the great hall of the Bitola Culture Center, a space where the largest number of events, concerts and film screenings are held, reports TV Telma.
Just two days earlier, the premiere of the “Freddie The Queen”musical by the Bitola Chamber Orchestra was held in a sold-out hall.
“Damage to the ceiling in the large hall was noticed yesterday, after which a dozen pieces of plywood were removed from the interior for safety reasons. Since the evening, we have been investigating companies that would come to our aid, and the renovation will begin these days,” Bitola Culture Center director SashoIlkovskitold TV Telma.
There is no leakage on the outside of the roof, so it is assumed that the damage occurred due to wear and tear.
