Citizens are left to deal with the crisis on their own, neither the prime minister nor anyone in the Government has the desire and capacity to help them, SDSM leader VenkoFilipce told a press conference on Saturday. Filipche pointed out that with a consumer basket that has reached almost MKD 68,000 now and a 600 euro minimum wage, it is not enough to protect the citizens; standard of living.
“There is an increase in the minimum wage of MKD 1,667. Nothing is achieved with this. The consumer basket is almost MKD 68,000. If we take into account that the price of electricity has previously increased, and then the price of heating, nothing is achieved with this increase, now even the minimum wage of EUR 600 that we proposed, and which the Government rejected, will not help the citizens,” said the leader of the main opposition party.
