The growth in pensions achieved by this government is 16 times greater than what was achieved under SDSM’s rule, Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski stated today while responding to a journalist’s question regarding wage and pension growth compared to the previous administration.
According to the PM, opposition criticisms regarding the standard of living are merely a PR stunt devised by consultants to humanize the opposition.
Mickoski acknowledged that problems still exist and are being addressed, but emphasized that life today is much better than it was three years ago.
“I am not saying that things are perfect right now. Yes, we have problems, and we are solving them. I am not saying we are living in a land of milk and honey. But I maintain—and we must agree on this, as citizens do in all public opinion polls—that life today is much better than it was three years ago. There are no more gangs, no more crime, no more racketeering, no more “marijuana economy”, and no more kickbacks from the Lottery. None of that exists anymore. Instead, the money is going back to the citizens; the focus is on the citizens. That’s the difference,” PM Mickoski underlined.
