A scandalous misuse of personal data and negligence occurred in the Kumanovo Court, due to which the Kumanovo Interior Department filed criminal charges against D.I. (51) and M.K. (66), both from Kumanovo, charging them with misuse of personal data and negligent work in the service.
The prime suspect D.I. filed a request with the Kumanovo Basic Court to issue a certificate from the criminal records for another person, without his consent, signature or power of attorney.
The second suspect, an independent court clerk at the court’s reception desk, received the request without requesting an identification document, enabling its processing.
After the certificate was issued, the prime suspect picked it up and used it against the person in whose name the document was issued.
