The Public Enterprise for State Roads (PESR) rejected the claims of Gostivar’s PE Communal Hygiene that it has been waiting for two years for approval to install water infrastructure, stating that the reason for the non-issuance of the permit is the failure to comply with legal procedures by the Municipality of Gostivar.
The PESR informs that in February 2024, the Municipality of Gostivar submitted a request for a water supply network, after which a payment calculation in the amount of MKD 16,588 was prepared on April 26 of the same year. According to the company, this amount was never paid, which is why the permit could not be issued.
Additionally, in March 2024, another request for a water supply pipeline was submitted. Although a report was prepared by a supervisory authority, the Municipality of Gostivar, as claimed by PESR, did not provide the necessary technical documentation for obtaining a permit.
