We currently have balanced relations with Croatia when it comes to Import-Export. In 2025, we will see a slight plus of some 10 million euros in that trade exchange, I expect that potential in the years to come to increase, and it is precisely this strategic cooperation agreement that provides mechanisms for that cooperation to be even greater in the future, said Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said in response to reporter’s question at a joint press conference with his Croatian counterpart Andrej Plenković.
A positive and extremely significant example for us is the decision of the Croatian Parliament, which brought amendments to local legislation to provide our transporters with long-term visas, says Mickoski.
“I would also like to point out that Croatian Dalekovod is the company that was selected to restart the high-voltage interconnection works with Albania, so it is really a matter of really close cooperation between the two countries with the potential for that economic cooperation to be even greater, and it is precisely such agreements that are an indicator and a way in which we can make that cooperation even greater, and such bilateral meetings, my first visit as Prime Minister and Mr. Plenković’s visit here in Ohrid are an inspiration for our business circles to increase that cooperation, and I expect that after this press conference at the joint meeting we will hear many creative ideas and opportunities for deepening that bilateral economic cooperation,” added Prime Minister Mickoski.
