President Siljanovska-Davkova: No security concerns within or the region

The Macedonian head of state adds that the institutions will continue to monitor the situation

The situation is stable and safe based on reports coming from the intelligence and national security agencies, the ministries of interior and defense, and the Army General Staff, said Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova after a session of the Security Council, held in light of the Middle East developments.

The Macedonian head of state adds that the institutions will continue to monitor the situation.

We are also coordinated with the authorities in the region and will share information,” said Siljanovska-Davkova.

The President is the head of the Security Council, and the members of the Security Council also attended the session, such as: Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski, Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski, as well as the experts Xhevdet Hajredini, Malinka Ristevska-Jordanova and Vlado Spiridonov. Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski, who is on an official visit to another country, was included in the session via video link. Also present at the session were the Intelligence Agency director Gabriela Jakovleva, National Security Agency director Bojan Hristovski, and the Chief of General Staff, Major General Sasko Lafchiski.
