Macedonian Minister of Public Administration GoranMinchev addressed the Conference for the launch of the process of co-creating the National Action Plan for the Open Government Partnership 2026–2028 (NAP7), with the aim of strengthening transparency, accountability and public participation in policy-making processes.

In his address, Minister Minchev emphasized that the Open Government Partnership is an important mechanism for promoting democratic governance and building trust between institutions and citizens.

“The Open Government Partnership is an important instrument for promoting transparency, accountability and public participation in policy-making. This initiative creates preconditions for policies that are more inclusive, more efficient and oriented towards the real needs of society,” emphasized Minister Minchev.

The new 2026–2028 National Action Plan will focus on key areas such as anti-corruption, integrity and accountability; civic space, participation and freedoms; digital governance; climate and environment; as well as an open parliament and an open judiciary.
