President of the European Council António Costa’s statement, welcoming the progress of the Republic of Macedonia in implementing the reform agenda, especially in the area of public administration reform, is a significant recognition of the dedicated work of the government and the Ministry of Public Administration in the past period, the Macedonian Ministry of Public Administration said in a press release Wednesday.

The fact that the public administration reform was singled out as one of the key areas in which tangible progress has been achieved is confirmation that the country is moving in the right direction, towards building a professional, efficient, accountable and modern public administration, aligned with European standards and values.

In the past period, the Ministry of Public Administration has worked intensively on the preparation and implementation of reform processes, establishing clear mechanisms for the professionalization of the administration, improving human resources management, digitalization of services and creating policies that provide better quality services for citizens and the business community.

The Public Administration Reform Strategy and the positive assessments from European partners are the result of the joint effort, commitment and responsibility of all institutions involved in the reform process.
