North Macedonia is providing military and technical assistance to the regime in Kiev, the new Russian Ambassador to Macedonia Dmitry Zykov told the Russian news agency TASS.
According to the Russian diplomat, Skopje’s position on the Ukrainian crisis is dictated by the Euro-Atlantic vector of foreign policy, which is declared in Macedonia at various levels.
The ambassador, in an interview with TASS, says that Skopje’s position on the Ukrainian crisis is deeply disappointing, and not only for Moscow.
“I am sure that these anti-Russian steps do not reflect the true interests of the Macedonian people, who, in turn, have never even been asked for their opinion on this matter,” the ambassador added.
