During a work visit to Makprogres in Vinica on Monday, Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski expressed regret that the opposition party SDSM continues, as he said, to be the soft tissue in the Macedonian national identity.
The Prime Minister made a statement to the media in the factory circle, and to the question posed about SDSM, which held a congress Sunday and repeated its alleged pro-EU integration positions.
“I think that we should not always comment on what SDSM says. I can only say that, in the folklore that we are used to hearing, we have not seen anything different. Unfortunately, SDSM continues to be the soft tissue of the Macedonian national identity. I regret that from the once state-forming party, it has turned into a group that fights to protect its personal interest. But, that is what it is, now they have chosen such a policy, to behave in such a way, we cannot do anything more here, sometimes maybe we should not comment on everything they say,” said PM Mickoski.
