VMRO-DPMNE MP and Central Committee member Valentin Manasievski accused that SDSM and its leader Venko Filipche falsely present themselves as a pro-European option, while, as he said, their positions and statements are often denied by European institutions and representatives.
At a press conference Sunday, Manasievski states that SDSM and Filipce publicly declare themselves as a pro-European party, but, according to him, their appearances are accompanied by, as he says, lies and manipulations.
As an example, he pointed to the statement made by MEP and EU Rapporteur for Macedonia, Thomas Waitz, which he said was misinterpreted by SDSM, which was followed by a denial. According to Manasievski, Waitz indicated that the country was making progress in the reform agenda.
“It was the same with the hysteria they spread about IPARD funds. And that manipulation was denied through a report from the European Commission,” added the ruling party representative.
