The Social Democratic Union of Macedonia – SDSM has scheduled a party congress on June 7, the opposition party leader Venko Filipche said Tuesday.
SDSM’s leader also announced an international meeting with regional sister parties with whom they will sign a joint Platform for the fight against authoritarian regimes, the fight against corruption and the European integration of the region.
“SDSM will hold a Central Board meeting tomorrow at 7 p.m., and at the session I will present the new draft program of the party on which members of the Central Board, expert committees from different areas and spheres will work, so that citizens know what policies we will propose in the coming period. The process will end with the adoption of the program of the congress to be held on June 7. The Congress will be preceded by an international meeting “Skopje Initiative” with regional sister parties with whom we will sign a joint Platform for the fight against authoritarian regimes, the fight against corruption and the European integration of the region,” said SDSM leader Filipche.
