The Przhino-style caretaker government must remain, otherwise SDSM’s parliamentary group will withdraw from the Electoral Code working group, the opposition party’s leader Venko Filipche said at a press conference Thursday.

“This completely autocratic manner of governance of this government that we see is equal to the rule of Nikola Gruevski. If this Law on Government passes the Committee today as it is, our MP group will withdraw from the Electoral Code working group,” Filipche said.

The opposition leader pointed out that as a party, they must also indicate to the citizens that they know what kind of government they are dealing with and why, as he emphasized, it pulls away from control and a mechanism that guarantees fair and free elections.

“This is an autocratic government, absolutely corrupt. Why don’t they want the Przhino-style caretaker government to remain? What are they afraid of and running away from?” Filipche asked.

He also expressed confidence that there would be snap elections.
