SDSM MP Slavjanka Petrovska sent a strong message on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the party’s formation, emphasizing that the Social Democrats need an urgent and profound transformation in order to survive on the political scene.
In her message, Petrovska notes that SDSM is not just a number or an abbreviation, but an ideology built on thousands of life stories and key state decisions, Petrovska says.
The opposition MP emphasized the importance of the party as an inclusive force that unites diversity, but did not ignore the need for self-reflection.
“We have lost, we have won, but we have always changed – for the better, of course. Change for the better is necessary and essential so that we can succeed, to win, for Macedonia,” Petrovska said in her message.
The MP also issued a direct warning to her party colleagues, emphasizing that the current moment requires courage for internal reforms. If we do not change, we will vanish. Therefore, we must begin transformation as soon as possible, Petrovska underscored.
