Police officers have arrested an underage Tetovo resident suspected of sending false reports of planted bombs to several schools in Tetovo.
M.R. (18) from the village of Palatica was arrested on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 9:10 am in Palatica, Tetovo. A search was carried out in his home in the village by a court-issued warrant, during which several electronic devices were confiscated.
The teenager is suspected of having repeatedly sent electronic messages to several educational institutions in Tetovo that explosive devices had been planted in the institutions. After inspections were carried out, it was determined that all bomb threat reports were false.
