An attempted theft occurred in the “St. Martyr George” church based in Kochani Tuesday night, during which the perpetrator tried to forcefully enter the church building.
According to initial information from the people who intervened, after the unsuccessful attempt to break in, the person fled, but got stuck on the metal fence around the church.
Police officers, a team of the Kochani Territorial Fire Department, as well as the Emergency Medical Service intervened at the scene, in order to safely extract the person. The incident occurred at night, immediately before a celebration in the “St. Great Martyr George the Victorious” church, which this morning caused additional disturbance and reactions among residents.
