Macedonian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Cvetan Tripunovski noted that immediately after the adoption of the program, traditionally before the feast of Saint Tryphon, payments to winegrowers were made Saturday.
“Funds have been transferred to over 12,500 winegrowers who are recorded in our registry. This is about MKD 480 million, or almost EUR 8 million, which have already been deposited in the winegrowers’ accounts,” the minister noted.
“The payment to fruit growers will also follow at the beginning of next week. About MKD 200 million will be paid for that purpose,” Tripunovski added.
