A III-magnitude earthquake according to the European Macroseismic Scale jolted the southwest regions of Macedonia on Wednesday at 11:10 pm, said the Seismological Observatory within the Skopje-based Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
A 3.7 magnitude earthquake with an epicenter in Greece, about 100 km southwest of Skopje was recorded at 7:50 P.M. on Wednesday by Macedonia’s Seismological Observatory.
The Observatory said the tremor was felt in Ohrid and nearby areas with an intensity of III degrees on the European Macroseismic Scale.
