A total of 296 building permits were issued in June 2026, which is 39.0% more compared to the same month last year, the State Statistics Office (SSO) said Thursday.
According to the issued building permits, the estimated value of the facilities is 6,363,610 thousand denars, which is 31.0% more compared to the same month last year. The largest number of permits – 70, were issued in the Polog region.
Of the total number of issued building permits, 200 (67.6%) are intended for high-rise buildings, 26 (8.8%) for low-rise buildings and 70 (23.6%) for reconstruction buildings.
Out of a total of 296 buildings, 218 (73.6%) are investors of individuals, and 78 (26.4%) of the buildings are investors of business entities.
In the reporting period, the construction of 754 apartments with a total usable area of 64,266 m2 is planned.
