The ruling VMRO-DPMNE announced that supporting the economy in creating new jobs remains one of the main priorities of the Government, indicating that the public call “Support for the creation of new jobs” from the Operational Plan for Employment 2026 is ongoing.
The party states that through the measure “Employment and growth of legal entities” companies will be financially supported for the employment of a total of 1,385 people, with grants of MKD 160,000 to MKD 250,000 provided for each new job. For this measure, as they point out, a budget of MKD 332.65 million has been provided, or about EUR 5.4 million.
According to VMRO-DPMNE, the public call is intended for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that want to expand their business by creating new jobs,and companies will be able to receive non-refundable financial funds for the employment of up to five people.
The ruling party informs that the highest grant of MKD 250,000 is intended for the employment of young people up to 29 years of age. A grant of MKD 220,000 is intended for the employment of beneficiaries of guaranteed minimum assistance, Roma, people with disabilities, women, long-term unemployed people and Roma women with completed secondary or higher education, while MKD 160,000 per worker are provided for unemployed people over 29 years of age.
The announcement also states that the measure covers Macedonian returnees, with employers receiving an additional 10 percent of the approved grant amount for each employed returnee, depending on the category.
