The State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) announced that after the latest check in the administrative tool for electronic submission of declarations of assets and interests, it determined that five people simultaneously hold two positions.
“Therefore, cases will be opened against these people, and after determining the factual situation, if it is determined that these are incompatible positions, they will be asked to resign from one of the positions they hold. At the same time, the SCPC will initiate misdemeanor proceedings for a misdemeanor in accordance with Article 44 of the Law on the Prevention of Corruption and Conflict of Interest, punishable in accordance with Article 105 of the same law,” the SCPC said in a press release Friday.
The SCPC officials determined that a total of 38 individuals, who were elected, appointed or dismissed from office during March 2026, failed to fulfill the legal obligation to submit a declaration of assets and interests to the SCPC within the legally established deadline.
“The SCPC will initiate proceedings against these individuals for a misdemeanor in accordance with Article 82 of the Law on Prevention of Corruption and Conflict of Interest, punishable in accordance with Article 109 of the same law,” added the commission.
