In terms of state employment that we have, we have a policy of very fair treatment of every single union that has been in the Government these two years. First came the negotiations from education, they received cumulatively by the end of our term in 4 years about 48%, then there were social workers about 20% increase, also about 40% received a wage increase from the health sector, 10% received employees in the Ministry of Interior, all money has been paid in full within the framework of defense and the Army, said MP from the ranks of VMRO-DPMNE LjupchoPrendzov in an interview with TV 24.
Prendzov emphasizes that inflation, unlike in previous years, has been drastically reduced and that through dialogue with the Government, workers in the public sectors will receive a 40% increase.
“In 2022, inflation was 14.2%, and food and beverage inflation was more than 50%, today in 2025 we have 3.9% inflation, last year we had 3.5% and in 2026 we will have 2.5% inflation. I expect those 7,700 employees and their representatives to come to the Government on Thursday, to talk and finally to get their 40%,” said the ruling party MP.
