A boy from Macedonia who suffered a fractured cervical vertebra will be transported from Turkey to Macedonia on a government plane tomorrow, the General and Common Affairs Service confirmed on Friday.
The boy fell from a slide on a vacation in Bodrum, Turkey, and suffered a serious injury.
Final preparations for the flight are being made Friday, after the boy’s parents requested assistance from Macedonian institutions for his safe return to the country.
The young national was hospitalized in Turkey, and due to the severity of the injury, he cannot be transported on a regular commercial flight or by vehicle.
