The youth of political parties in Macedonia have signed a Declaration on European Values and Cohesion Tuesday in Skopje, at an event organized by the Institute for Economic Strategies and International Relations – Ohrid, with the support of the European Union, on the occasion of Europe Day and Month.

By signing the declaration, the young political leaders committed themselves to respecting and promoting common European values, including dialogue, cohesion, democratic culture, responsibility, respect for diversity and solidarity.

The Head of Cooperation at the Delegation of the European Union, Stefan Hudolin, stresses that the European idea is alive, dynamic and is constantly being built through joint efforts, dialogue and inclusiveness.

Hudolin notes that as responsible for the cooperation sector and financial support from the EU, he is pleased to attend a project that, as he said, “shows what European support means in practice, especially in the period when we celebrate Europe, its values and the path to membership.”
