The ZNAM Movement has one less MP as of Saturday – Mile Cekov has left the ZNAM MP group and is an independent MP as of today, SDSM party leader Venko Filipche has said in a social media post.
With Cekov’s departure, the number of MPs from the ranks of the ZNAM Movement has dropped from six to five, and with it the number of MPs in the ruling coalition led by VMRO-DPMNE is also reduced. For the time being, Cekov is still listed as a ZNAM MP on the Parliament’s website.
